ONLINE: Kintsugi Sangha Meditation
Every Monday online: The Kintsugi Sangha meets for Zen meditation, instruction, and conversation. This community outreach program draws on traditional Zen teachings as translated into contemporary western culture. Together we explore the confusion, joy and boundless opportunity of the human experience always with an eye toward compassion, honesty, and humility. Open and welcoming to all traditions; there are no prerequisites. For more details please visit the sangha page HERE. Consider dropping in some day. For more information contact Erich Moraine (Rev. Shokan Mui)
ONLINE: Couples in Recovery (CIR)
First Sunday of each month now online The Couples In Recovery program is intended to help the recovering couple bring serenity and peace into their home and relationship. CIR is a 12–step based recovery group for couples who are in a committed relationship. One or both partners in the couple attend individual 12 step recovery groups, and together they desire to strengthen their relationship through recovery. For more information, contact us at (262) 569-1011, admin@lcuuc.org, or visit their website at http://couplesinrecovery.info/.
Quarterly (TBD): LCUUC Orientation

Are you interested in learning more about Unitarian Universalism and Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church? Would like you to know more about LCUUC's history, governance, and programming; how to get involved or the value of being a member?
New members, old members, friends, and those thinking about joining the church are invited to this UU & You Orientation Class. It is a great way to learn about our church and to connect with others. LCUUC members of the Membership Committee will lead a session which will include getting to know each other, sharing our ongoing spiritual journeys, and a brief history of Unitarian Universalism.
Lunch & refreshments will be served. Child care is available, if requested in advance. You will find a sign-up sheet at the long table in the foyer or may contact the church office. Click Here to Register. The next orientation session is being scheduled.

November 22nd-29th - Family Promise at LCUUC
As of March 17, 2020, Family Promise has cancelled host weeks until further notice. We are hoping that the COVID-19 virus will have passed by November, and we will be available to the clients in need at that time. Four times a year, LCUUC participates in the Waukesha County Family Promise program (http://familypromisewaukesha.org/) which is a non-profit organization that assists homeless families with children. We work with other churches in the county to provide overnight shelter, meals, and support to help families achieve their goal of permanent housing and sustainable independence. There are two host weeks at Church of the Resurrection (May 31-June 7 and September 6th-13th) before ours in November.
POSTPONED until further notice: LCCR Playgroup
LCUUC Circle Round Playgroup is taking a few months off! We will resume this summer, so stay tuned. In the meantime, if any LCUUC member would like to lead a playgroup, please contact Juliet Rogers at julietarogers@gmail.com
TBD - Hope Center
The Hope Center is committed to serving those in need throughout Waukesha County. Their number one goal is to prevent homelessness. Twice a year, LCUUC members volunteer to help serve dinner. We are currently working on the 2020 year schedule. If you would like to help out in the future, contact us at (262) 369-1703 or admin@lcuuc.org
Mission Statement: LCUUC is a diverse religious community supporting one another in our spiritual search for truth, meaning and compassionate connection. Based on the Unitarian Universalist Principles and the transforming power of love, we strive for positive change in the world.
