Adult Enrichment

Our Adult Enrichment programs are designed to challenge us in ways that foster and encourage our spiritual growth. Offered by our minister, guest facilitators or members of the church, our programs are intended to serve the broad spectrum of our members’ interests throughout the year. This is a program that continues to evolve as we welcome new members with different areas of expertise and interest.

Past offerings have included::

  • Social Justice: The Social Justice Committee has offered courses that give us instruction and opportunity on ways to help create local and global community environments that fit better with UU principles.
  • Green Sanctuary: The Green Sanctuary Committee has offered courses that give us instruction on how to reduce our 'footprint' on the earth.
  • Philosophy: Various instructors have taught us about different philosophers including Nitchze and Kant.
  • Movement: We have held a number of yoga and ti chi classes.
  • Meditation: Various types of meditation classes have been held. Currently, we have an active Kintsugi Sangha meditation group. For details please visit the sangha page HERE.
  • Special Interest Classes: Various classes are offered when opportunities arise throughout the year.
If something above sounds interesting to you, but you do not see it offered in the current class listing, please let us know so we can consider offering it again. Or if you have an idea for something new, please contact us at (262) 369-1703 or admin@lcuuc.com.

Mission Statement:  LCUUC is a diverse religious community supporting one another in our spiritual search for truth, meaning and compassionate connection. Based on the Unitarian Universalist Principles and the transforming power of love, we strive for positive change in the world.
