LCUUC Members get out to clean up the community!
On August 1,2020, a group donned their safety vests and trekked down Highway E in Hartland in search of wayward trash. LCUUC has participated in Waukesha County's "Adopt A Highway" program since 2004. This program relies on organizations such as ours to pick up and bag trash along our assigned County Highways to get rid of the litter and make our roadways more attractive. Each participating organization commits to three cleanups per year. Our stretch of road is Highway E, from the intersection with K (northwest corner of LCUUC property) north to highway EF. If you have never done this, please give it a try! |
