We invite you to consider becoming a member at Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church (LCUUC). Join with others who seek truth and meaning, and share questions, insights, talents and resources. LCUUC members form a connected and committed religious community intended to nourish the human spirit, guided by our Unitarian Universalist principles. We come together to seek out meaning and value in our human struggles, to understand and to be understood, to celebrate our joys and sorrows in community, and to build a better world.

Your Path to Membership:
- Attend Sunday Worship Services regularly and become involved in the life of the church community.
- Become familiar with our UU Principles, which encourage ongoing spiritual growth.
- Participate in the LCUUC Orientation Class. This class is held periodically throughout the year. It provides a deeper understanding of Unitarian Universalism and more detailed information about church life at LCUUC.
- Meet with someone on the Board or from the Membership Committee. This is an opportunity ask questions.
- Meet with the minister.
- Make a financial pledge in keeping with your financial resources. Your financial pledge supports the mission and programs of LCUUC. UU churches are financially independent, and so the LCUUC operating budget is derived primarily from the support of its members and friends.
- Participate in a New Member Ceremony. This is the occasion when you are warmly welcomed and together we celebrate you joining our church community!
Membership Privileges include:
- The right to vote on important issues concerning the church.
- Eligibility to serve in all capacities (Board officer or member, committee chair or member, Nominating Committee)
- Receive email communications about church activities and LCUUC newsletter
- Receive mailings of all congregational business and the UU World magazine
- Be listed in and receive the church directory
- Receive free services of the minister for life cycle ceremonies and pastoral care
- Use portions of the church for ½ the rental fee

- Opportunities to make a difference globally, in our local communities, and within the LCUUC community.
- Personal spiritual accountability, helping you stay on whatever spiritual goals you set for yourself.

- A variety of social events are always happening, ranging from holiday meals, camp-outs, dancing, boating, game nights, and more!
